Falls Rapsidy

Autumn is a special time to visit Ottawa, as vibrant fall colours frame the Capital’s national sights, and Fall Rhapsody celebrations and activities attract thousands to nearby Gatineau Park – just a 15-minute drive from Parliament Hill.
An annual event organized by the National Capital Commission (NCC), Fall Rhapsody invites everyone to enjoy over 90 kilometres of trails that run through the Park – on foot or by bike – and to take part in family activities and free learning programs at the Park’s Visitor Centre. One not-to-be missed attraction is Mackenzie King Estate, the historic home and surrounding grounds built by Canada’s 10th and longest-serving Prime Minister. For spectacular views of the Gatineau Hills and the Ottawa Valley, stop by the Champlain Lookout, or venture even higher atop the Eardley Escarpment at Luskville Falls.

We met a lovely lady whilst having lunch who only lived a few blocks away from our place, Chris and her have met up and been for walks and lunch together.
